Drosophila what? One of the hardest things for me to do is right a lab report. I know I should be good at them by now after I have been doing them since 6th grade, but I am not. I like science, and sorta understand it, but lab reports have never clicked with me. I find it very hard to write about something I am told to write. In lab reports, it is almost a generic copy of what you have to write for every lab. The other hard thing for me, is making it sound right. I always have trouble making flow, because you have to say all these things, which normally are not easy to piece together. While writing this I found it very easy, because I am writing what I want to say, and what I feel. In a lab report, you are not really writing what want to write, but what the teacher wants to to write. Although I have been going on about this, but it is something I just want to say, mostly because I am about to work on my lab report.
Today the New England Revolution went out in the MLS Cup vs LA Galaxy. It was a chance for USA legend Landon Donovan, to leave his career on a high. The New England Revolution were massive underdogs going into the final, after a mid season drought, they picked things up with Jermaine Jones and Lee Nyguen leading the way. The revs were coming off two impressive performances against the New York Redbulls. Galaxy beat Sounders on away goals in the western conference finals.
The game started very quickly for the Galaxy, after nearly scoring a minute in. The first half finished without many clear cut chances for either side. Into the second half Galaxy scored five minutes in through Zardes. New England couldn't quite manage any chances, and were kept in the game by Bobby Shuttleworth. Into the 80th minute a long ball forward from Gonçlaves was picked up by Mullins, he than played it through to Tierney who fired it passed Penedo. For the last ten minutes it was all Revolution, and they almost won the game with a beautiful chip by Bunbury. The game ended 1-1 so they went into extra time, and in the 110th minute, Robbie Keene won it for the Galaxy. It was a great way for Landon Donovan to end his career, but a heart break for us New England fans, losing in the finals for a fourth time.
