More enduringly than any other sport, wrestling teaches self-control and pride. Some have wrestled without great skill - none have wrestled without pride.
Shake hands, WRESTLE! As the days tick by varsity wrestling seems to come closer and closer. We had a very solid team last year, and hopefully have a good one this year. Last year, we had many very strong wrestlers, and two of are best, Nicholas Scholler and Joey Conroy, left. We had a great season and beat many strong teams. Joey Conroy and I both made it to the finals of the Fessenden tournament and lost and I want to take first this year. I'm exited for the season ahead and cannot wait. Although wrestling is a very mentally and physically challenging sport, you want to leave it on the mat. One of the hardest things about wrestling is knowing that if you lose, it is your fault, you are the only one to blame. This also makes it fun, trying to challenge yourself to do better each match.
